Sometimes I am so lucky. Not all the time of course because if I was lucky all the time then I would just keep buying lottery tickets and I would never have to work again. But I am lucky with people, most of the time. On Thursday Rich phoned me from England. He said that he was sorry that I had left so quickly and that he still owed me money. I said it was okay because it was my own fault but he said that he wanted to pay me so he would send the money to me. Six thousand baht! He asked me for my address so I gave it to him and he said he would post it to me which is great. I was so grateful because really he didn’t have to and he did buy me my iPhone. I love my phone. It is so much better than my old Nokia. The camera is really good and it plays lost of music and it has a touch screen which is the coolest thing ever. I already have more than a hundred pictures of myself on it and fifty music tracks. I have a friend called Jee who knows how to download songs for free on the Internet so she is giving me songs for my iPhone. Rich said he missed me and I said that I missed him too and he said that he was trying to find a way of getting back to Bangkok to see me which was sweet. He said he didn’t want to make love to his wife again which I thought was a silly thing to say because all men want sex and he can’t have sex with me because he is so far away so he might as well have sex with his wife.
On Saturday I went out with Anne again and we went to Gullivers. One of the girls there who is a friend of Anne’s said that two men had been asking about me and my blog but that they weren’t there then so that was okay. Anne and I decided that we would stop using Anne and Wan as our names and that we would use other names so that no one would know who we are really. We sat at the main bar because all the tables were full and ordered Cokes and after just ten minutes a farang came over to Anne and started talking to her. His name was Jeremy and he was from Dublin which is in Ireland and he was on holiday. He bought us both drinks and then asked Anne to go with him and he said that he would give her two thousand and five hundred baht so she said yes. She asked me if I minded and I said it was okay because I know she needs the money. I went over to talk to the girl who had told us about the two men. Her name is Boo which means crab and she was older than me, more than thirty, and has two children who stay with her mother in her home in Saraburi. She is quite pretty but she had a tattoo of a flower on her arm which I do not think is very pretty. I think tattoos are low class, actually. Boo said that she used to work in a massage parlour in Sukhumkvit Soi 22 but that the money was not so good so she came to Gullivers instead. She said that when she worked in the massage parlour she got paid two three hundred baht a day by the boss and she could keep the tips that customers gave her. Sometimes if the customer wanted sex she would get a thousand baht or five hundred baht but some days she wouldn’t get any customers who wanted sex so the money was not good. She said that if she went to Gullivers or the German Bar she could get a customer who would pay her two thousand baht or more so it was better to go to the bar than to spend all day in the massage parlour.
I said I did not know about the German Bar and she said that she would show me. Gullivers is on Sukhumvit Soi 5 and the German Bar is on Sukhumvit Soi 7. Boo paid her bill and she took me outside and we walked up to Sukhumvit but then we turned right down an alley. The alley went to Sukhumvit Soi 7 where the German Bar is. Half way down the alley is a bar with pool tables and Boo said that girls could work there but that you had to be able to play pool. She said the manager was a French guy who was cute and he liked pretty girls to work in his bar. At the end of the alley we got to Sukhumvit Soi 7 and we turned left and there was the German Bar. Actually I did not see the name of the bar but Boo said that everyone called it the German Bar even though she had never seen anybody there who spoke German. It was a big bar but not as big as Gullivers, and it was mainly girls in there. There were a lot more girls than farangs. Most of the farangs seemed more low class than the farangs in Gullivers, and most of them seemed quite old. At the entrance were a lot of girls who were quite old, too, a lot of them were more than thirty I think and like Boo a lot of them had tattoos.
There was a really big bar in a circle that seemed to go on for ever and it was quite noisy. There are no pool tables like there are in Gullivers. Really it was just a bar and nothing else though there were some tables where people could eat. The roof was just metal like they have on the houses near where I live in Chiang Mai and there weren’t any pretty waitresses like there are in Gullivers. All the staff were working inside the bar so you had to go up to the bar to buy a drink. There were stools all the way around the bar and I think that three quarters of the stools had women and girls and one quarter had farangs. I think that it would be quite difficult to get a farang in the German Bar because there are so many girls. But Boo said that because most of the girls were old and not very pretty then it was easy to get a farang if you were pretty. I think she might be right because when we walked around the bar a lot of farangs smiled at me. Boo and I spoke to one man who said he was from England and he said he wantedto go with us both and that he would pay us two thousand baht. I thought he meant two thousand baht each but he didn’t, he meant one thousand baht which is stupid because I am not cheap like that. Boo said that a lot of farangs in the German Bar were Cheap Charlies and only wanted to pay a thousand baht or even less. I said I would not go with a farang for less than two thousand five hundred baht and she said that was fair because I was young and pretty. She said that sometimes she went with farangs for a thousand baht if she needed money to send to her children but she isn’t as pretty as I am.
Boo said that she would go to Gullivers first but if she couldn’t find a farang there she would go down the alley to the German Bar and see if she could find a farang there. Then she would go back and forward between Gullivers and the German Bar until she found a farang. Gullivers closes at one o’clock so I asked her what she did if she didn’t find a farang by then and she said that then she goes to the disco at the Nana Hotel where there are a lot of farangs and that if she couldn’t find a farang there she would go to the car park outside the Nana Hotel. The Nana Hotel is in Sukhumvit Soi 4 which is where Nana Plaza is. I have never been to Nana Plaza but Thai people know that there are a lot of go-go bars there and a lot of farangs go there to get girls. Boo said she would take me there sometime and she gave me her phone number so that I can call her. I said that I wanted to get a farang from Gullivers and she said okay so we went back to Soi 5 and I bought her a Coke while we looked for farangs. I was lucky again because after about an hour two American men came over. One was called Bill and he liked me. He was from Chicago which is the Windy City and he was on holiday with his friend Sam. Bill and Sam were both divorced and they both hated American women. They said that American women were fat and lazy and only cared about money. They said that Thai women were different and they both wanted to marry Thai women one day. Sam went with Boo and I went back to Bill’s hotel with him and he paid me three thousand baht, which is great. Thai women are not fat and lazy like American women but really I think we like money as much as they do. I didn’t say that to Bill, but I did wai him when he gave me three thousand baht and he said that was cute.

TS,
If you never get the money / letter in the mail don't blame Rich. You should know that sending money by mail nowadays is not a good idea as there exists the ability to scan mail to see if money is inside. This being Thailand and all, you can be sure if there is money inside it will be intercepted at the post office and either the letter will be lost or the letter will be delivered without the money. Don't say I didn't warn you.

you are correct Wan, most thai ladies are not fat, but any good looking ones are lazy and all are only interested in money.
you make dresses, why not focus all your energy in being successful at your job instead of selling your body to overweight and smelly western men for less than 1/2 a days salary from their country......oh right because you are lazy!!!
Perhaps a trip to Bed Supper Club
26 Suk, Soi 11? Think you might enjoy it. Get one of the rich farangs to take you.
Wow I am baffled, I have just stumbled across this site, I think it was linked from Stick's site and I have to admit I am very confused by the animosity towards the blogger, whatever her name might be. Seems harmless enough and she seems pretty up front about what she is doing. There are millions of Thai girls doing the same thing and lets be honest "free" girls end up costing more than someone like her, with all the flowers and movies and dinners etc..and you still might not get laid... at least she is on the up and up about what she is doing and what it is going to cost you.. but a bigger question is why in the world are all the people that post such negative and angry comments even bothering to read the blog if it's so distasteful to them? I will never understand such a point of view...

They(we) suspect she is a farang in disguise, but even I now am starting to believe this may be the real deal. The near perfect English though is what makes it suspect. I still think it's a great idea and the cash from those paid adds can't be bad either ;)
Don't matter if its authentic or not. Good read never the less. Hats off to the farang and thai making use of their creative writing skills.
I'm thinking that if there were any way to prove you are actually a free-lance working girl in Bangkok, this blog would become really popular!
I see, (re: thinking its a falang) I guess I never caught that from the previous comments. I don't know to be honest there are enough things said that ring really true that only a Thai girl would think or say..but the written English is very good..and I guess if the goal is to get hits and therefore click through on the ads the are they or aren't they is probably good for the traffic.. either way it's a pretty harmless amusing thing and sooner or later if this person is NOT who they claim some smart enterprising computer geek will prove it...
Halfway through June and only two blogs? :(
MORE MORE MORE!!
Check out the "Sitemeter" stats link at the bottom of the page. The blog is already quite popular. Goodonya TS.
Well, looks like she took the sitemeter stats link off, but I can tell you she had almost 10,000 visits (not page views) since the blog started. Hence, all the paid advertisers. Gotta hand it to her/him.
my bad, it's still there. Just go to the home page and go all the way dwn to the bottom and look for the little "sitemeter" graphic. Personally, I'm impressed.
